Hello and welcome back to my weekly recap. Iโm Lleeto and I look forward to documenting the Parallel and Echelon events that have occurred over the past week.
Parallel’s vision for Avatars is to create characters from the Parallel world that represent you. You can use Avatars in the TCG but their ambition is to see them used in other parts of the Parallel IP. This means Avatars must be full-bodied, modeled, and composable – no small feat.
This Tweet demonstrates the use of a full-bodied Avatar roaming around in a Parallel world utilizing Parallel Assets. The Avatar is carrying a Marcolian weapon and is accompanied by a Marcolian Companion.

Shard Refinement is now online. Head to https://parallel.life/terminals/ and select ‘Refine Shards’ to create your Terminal Battery using 3 Shard Fragments and 135 $PRIME.
These Batteries can be used to Activate Terminals from May 12th. After this date, you can still Refine Shards to create Batteries. Other details related to Terminal activation will be released before the activation date.
If all Terminals are activated, 321K PRIME will have been sunk back into the PRIME system.

When Parallel creates cards, they also create the 3D equivalent, populating their library of assets. The result is shorter timelines and fewer costs to create additional ways to play Parallel. This was the first test of those assets in a game engine – UE5.
The purpose of this experiment was to examine what additional game formats beyond the TCG would fit the story they want to tell and determine the usability of these assets within other game formats.
