What are Assets?

Assets are non-playable cards that have a variety of valuable in-game and out-of-game functions. Assets differ in rarity and can earn rewards and revenue from the Parallel and Echelon ecosystems.

Keys

Keys are non-playable cards that can be utilized within Parallel’s unique Key Framing system. Keys do not impact gameplay but provide varying in-game and out-of-game benefits.

A few of the out-of-game benefits include but are not limited to physical and digital reservations, future merchandise, and more.

Key Framing

Pictured here, Key Framing is the system used within the game to connect keys.

Once a Key is connected, its function is active in the game.

Below there is an explanation of each key and their associated functions.

Prime Key [PK]

In-game function:

Provides one [1] additional Key Framing slot.

Out-of-game function:

Special access to drops and NFTs
Automatic pack reservations

Galaxy Key [GK]

In-game function:

The GK increases in-game $PRIME emissions by a random amount.

Out-of-game function:

Grants access to the Galaxy Faucet which is exclusive to GK holders.

Overclock Key [CK]

In-game function:

Handsomely rewards win streaks with additional $PRIME.

Out-of-game function:

Holders are granted a reservation for a physical collectible of their choice.

Multifold Key [Mk]

In-game function:

For each NFT in your deck, additional Apparition copies of that card are treated as NFTs.

Out-of-game function:

Holders are granted a reservation to the upcoming Parallel Comic.

Surge Key [SK]

In-game function:

Significantly boost Renown gained from winning games.

Out-of-game function: Holders received one Starter Deck for free.

Prismatic Key

In-game function:

Every day, each Prismatic Key selects a Parallel. During that day, $PRIME emissions are increased for winning games with the selected Parallel.

Out-of-game function:

Holders received two reservations for the Parallel: Avatar release.

Gravity Key [GK]

In-game function:

Those lucky enough to win a match with their Gravity Key activated will have a chance at legendary rewards such as $PRIME Tournament Tickets, Rare Titles, Emotes & Cosmetics.

Cornerstone Assets

What are Cornerstone Assets?
Cornerstone assets can be cached into a special Echelon contract to receive rewards. Cornerstone Assets may be designated by each game in the Echelon ecosystem on a case-by-case basis.

The Core [TC]

Cached Cores earns a reward equal to 1% of secondary sales from Assets, Art Cards, Card Backs, and MPs.

Earns PRIME + Key modifiers on an additional game daily.

Catalyst Drive [CD]

A Prime Key can be inserted into the CD thus creating a Prime Drive.

Prime Drives can be cached to acquire a bigger dedicated allocation of $PRIME tokens.

Masterpiece [MP]

1 Masterpiece version of every playable card exists.

The owner receives 1% of all royalties from card sales of its represented card.

Masterpieces are not playable cards.

One free mint to every future base set release.

Earn $PRIME % when their card art is replicated through the Lineage System.
