Playing matches with cards will earn them Renown. Once a card has earned enough Renown you can spend it along with $PRIME to purchase exclusive cosmetics, Replicate cards, and more.
The goal of this is to allow the community to be the printers and retailers of new Digital Collectable cards once the game is live. It provides a great sink for $PRIME tokens to cycle back through the game, while still providing value and income to users.

Renown is a resource within the Parallel ecosystem. As you play games of Parallel, you will acquire renown for the cards you play with. Winning will reward a boost of Renown. SE and PL editions of the cards will gain much higher amounts of Renown than other versions.

Replication is the process of creating an Echo. To do this there is a cost of $PRIME and Renown. Each time a card is Replicated, the cost to replicate is rebalanced for all users. Replication may only occur by having possession of FE, SE, and PL editions of Parallel cards. There will be two tiers of Replication: – Standard Replication, which costs a normal amount of renown and Prime, – R.x Replication, which costs much more renown and a little less Prime. R.x is a recently discovered method for replication. By utilizing a new catalyst, resonation is amplified within the cymatic replication process, requiring less prime to successfully create echoes. However, as R.x is still fairly new, access to this method is more expensive, and only those with the greatest levels of renown will be able to utilize it.

Echoes are a new edition of Digital Collectible cards that are created through Replication. Replication is an imperfect process, there’s a chance an anomaly will also be created alongside the intended echo. Anomalies may be visual marks or slightly altered appearances of the original artwork. Anomalies may also materialize as additional echoes, in-game progression or exclusive cosmetics.
Disclaimer: This section on Echoes is speculative as the system is not established yet and is subject to change. See this tweet for context.
