Hello and welcome back to my weekly recap. Iโm Lleeto and I look forward to documenting the Parallel and Echelon events that have happened this week.
This week Echelon put out to vote its first grant proposal which is to build a dedicated public API for Parallel and Echelon. When this proposal was put forward for EP voting there was a strong reaction from the community regarding communication. Echelon decided to host a community call on Saturday 19th November to hear the people’s thoughts regarding communication between them and the community.
If you missed the call you can find it on the Echelon Youtube channel here. The call lasts for around 54 minutes so be sure to go check it out.
Nayn who is a popular and active member of the Parallel and Echelon communities jumped on the call to voice his opinion. He encourages more room for feedback from the community regarding Echelon grant decisions via community calls etc.
Nayn personally feels even if Echelon doesnโt agree with the community, it is important that they explain the thought behind their decision-making. Having that back-and-forth communication produces an understanding between the two whether it’s an agreement or not – it’s still very important.
Kalos responds saying he agrees and that maybe Echelon over-indexed on feedback from a few community members in the past regarding voter fatigue.
Community calls before voting on things is a good idea to get a sentiment check and maybe bring to light some things Echelon may have overlooked. Hopefully, this satisfies requirements from wanting the community to have their voices heard.
Importantly, from these discussions a new Echelon review process was developed. You can see below the new model:
//Earthen: Infused Shaman
//Earthen: Reluctant Berserker
//Shroud: Singularity Portal [PL]
//Earthen: Formidable Presence
//Marcolian: Desperate Measures
For reference these cockpit designs could be what the cockpit of the aircraft in Seeing Triple looks like.
I hope I have helped to keep you up-to-date with the Parallel world. If you have any questions then please feel free to tag me on Twitter @Lleeto26. Donโt forget to follow @Primewiki so you donโt miss future posts. We have some exciting stuff planned that we think youโll enjoy.
