Parallel Recap: Oct 31st – Nov 7th 2022

Hello and welcome back to my weekly recap. I’m Lleeto and I look forward to documenting the Parallel and Echelon events that have happened this week.

Prime Event 4, incredible Marcolian Terminal, contest winners, plus more!

Prime Event 4 block:

Prime Event 4 occurred at block #15780565 (Wednesday, Oct 19, 3:08 AM ET).

You can visit the tweet from Echelon here to see the start block, end block, and the on-chain proof of RNG.

If you were included in this Prime Event you can expect to see your Prime rewards reflected on the Echelon rewards page from today November 7th.

Pumpkin Contest winners:

The Parallel Pumpkin Carving Contest had many great entries.

Congratulations to the winners:

1st @wowsuchcoin wins one Prime Edition Gaffar Cover Comic.

2nd @vacasean, and 3rd Shell_beach who both earn themselves a Collector’s Edition Orban Cover Comic.

However, the giveaway didn’t end there: Parallel said they enjoyed all the entries so much that all other participants would receive a First Edition Soleia Cover Comic too.

Parallel Multi-Wallet Support:

Multi-wallet support for Parallel.life has been an ask from the community for a while now, and it is finally here. Storing your digital collectibles and assets all in one place has never been advised from a security standpoint. Collectors tend to store their Parallel Digital Collectibles scattered amongst several wallets just in case one wallet becomes compromised. This makes it a little tricky when trying to see your collection on Parallel.life.

This has finally been resolved with the Parallel multi-wallet support: head over to parallel.life/settings/wallets/ in order to connect multiple of your wallets to your Parallel account.

Marcolian Terminal:

//Marcolian: Remote Terminal Communications Unit [RTCU]

The Marcolian Remote Terminal Communications Unit [RTCU] is a battlefield-ready manned comms platform, designed to be used in all forms of field combat. It is used primarily to facilitate communication between the fleet, ground forces, and special combat units. It also has an offensive function, broadcasting a far-reaching jamming signal to block and disrupt enemy communications.

RTCU – Battlefield

While active in combat, the communications platform is manned by a Marcolian Communications Officer. The officer and platform are protected by a pulse induction force field, powered by dual prime fuel cell energy units. The fuel cells also give the platform immense signal strength, allowing it to clearly broadcast while also jamming enemy signals.

Even while taking heavy fire, the RTCU is well protected by the pulse powered force field. This allows it to follow troops into hostile territory and maintain front line communications with the rest of the troops.

RTCU – Deployment

When not in active field use the RTCU is completely autonomous and can be easily routed remotely.

Below you will see just a selection of the art and design concepts for this Marcolian terminal. To see all the images and read all the details please visit the source tweet right here!

I have to give huge praise to Parallel’s concept designer Kristoffer Brady as he has yet again done a magnificent job.
