Hello! I’m Vacasean, a PrimeWiki co-founder and EP at Echelon, and I will document the past week’s Parallel and Echelon events for you. If you’d like to play Parallel, use our referral link here!
The Planetfall Invitational was a tightly contested tournament, with Samuel Sequinox taking home the championship! 16 warriors entered the ring, and one man emerged victorious.
The event was truly a community effort. We had Quinto, Mookah, Thea, and Allie on the call, the upgraded Echelon Tournament app used to organize the bracket, fans from around the world rooting their favorites on in Twitch chat, and last but not least, the game (Parallel TCG) we all know and love on full display!
Bonds, the long-awaited card-sharing feature, debuted last week. Echelon has a great blog post explaining the system’s mechanics (https://echelon.io/article/echelon-bonds-alpha/).
Echelon launched the system with five alpha-testing bonds to help stress test some key functions. It’s another exciting development in the ecosystem, enabling players to participate in the economic incentives without spending money. After the alpha phase is completed, Echelon will roll it out to the public.
The Echelon Tournaments app featured heavily during the Planetfall Invitational. As part of the Echelon mission to support its Partners and the Community, the tournament app will continue to be used in Organized Play around the Parallel League hits its stride. Check out the highlights and updates from this recent Twitter post from Echelon.
Parallel juiced the Referral Program for July and continues to giveaway incredible assets to the community.
Kalos touches on a few of the main topics near and dear to the community, announcing an MMR fix, challenging anyone to an AI x blockchain feature-off, letting streamers know to tag him when they stream the game, handing out some Japanese versions of the physical playing cards, and letting us know he will be on the Parallel podcast more in the coming episodes.
Dub and Voh get #blessed with physical Parallel Cards, Allie shares her favorite Augencore deck right now, AiRev and Kalos amplify visibility for community tools, and Tyler_YGG keeps up his daily streak of posting on his quest to become the first Parallel TCG World Champion.
If so, drop us a line on Twitter, and we will include it!
