Hello and welcome back to my weekly recap. I’m Lleeto, a PrimeWiki co-founder, and I look forward to documenting the Parallel and Echelon events that have occurred over the past week.
We are excited to reveal our new branding for Prime.Wiki. Soon we will reveal our revamped website with the updated branding. We are so excited to continue building out our vision for Prime.Wiki and make it a pillar of the Parallel and Echelon community going forward.
Parallel cinematics never disappoint!
Special Edition and First Edition cards won’t have their card treatments in place for the start of Beta. What does this mean? In TCG’s down the years I am sure you have heard of a card being shiny or holo. Well, that is a card treatment – it is the process of giving a card holographic/shiny/foil art, and so on.
When you earn Prime in-game it will sit on Coinbase’s Base chain. This is where The Portal [shown in last week’s recap] comes into play. It allows users the ability to bridge Prime from and between Base and Ethereum Mainnet.
Now, with the information that in-game PRIME emissions are going to be on Base, some people have wondered if we will need to bridge our cards from Ethereum Mainnet to Base. Well, the answer is no; your cards are playable whilst sitting on Ethereum Mainnet.
As of July 18th, Prime Keys and Catalyst Drives will no longer earn PRIME rewards individually through Caching.
Along with Prime Key PRIME emissions ending, the initial PRIME distribution for Cached Parasets came to an end too. However, unlike Prime Keys, there is still a reason to Cache Parasets.
From now on, Cached Cores, Masterpieces, and ParaSets will still receive rewards from secondary sales and/or PRIME Sinks. This means, that the more PRIME that is spent in the ecosystem sinks, the more PRIME users can earn through Caching.
Kalos Shared His Thoughts On Parallel TCG
It was amazing to see such a huge turnout for the first content creator call. It’s a program from Parallel and Milo to help creators in the Parallel community with incentives and mentorship. Parallel having a great community of content creators in its inception is a great way to bring people in from the outside. The more educational, competitive, and fun content that is floating around out there, the more likely people are to enter the Parallel ecosystem and give it a try.
There are whispers in the wind that Parallel will host a LAN event in Canada this August.
This domain name might come in useful with Colony in development…
