Parallel Shop released, Comic Issue 2 release details, new PRIME sink and much more!
The Parallel Store is online!
Head over to parallel.life/shop/ to grab yourself a hoodie, cap, or t-shirt. Payments can be made with Fiat cards or Eth.
Items will continuously be added to the store with some digital items purchasable with PRIME.
Kalos says: It’s a more passive distribution mechanism than a drop which will be reserved for bigger events/releases.
The Priming Issue 2 will be Released on April 1st via the new Parallel Shop. It will cost 0.17Ξ and will remain available until it has sold out. Parallel will also be re-releasing The Priming Issue 1 via the Parallel Shop.
Each comic ordered, including issue 1, will include 1 Shard Fragment. These Fragments are used to activate the upcoming Terminals.
Pre-orders will begin for specific groups of collectors on March 27th. This will begin with holders of the Multifold Key. Pre-orders will receive their comic as well as access to read first on April 1st.
The snapshot for Multifold Key holders will occur on March 24th at 3 pm EST. Those included will be able to pre-order The Priming Issue 2 beginning on March 27th. Parallel say that they have more specifics coming and can’t wait to share the next chapter in their exciting story.
New $PRIME sink: Avatars will have a 72-hour period where they are unrevealed. In that window, you can pay a fee in PRIME to have a 3-second peek at your Avatar. For a higher PRIME fee, you can peek at someone else’s. All Avatars are also tradable during this 72-hour window.
You may be wondering why anyone would want to peek. Well, It allows you to see if you like your Avatar before the reveal. It allows you to look at other people’s Avatars that may have them listed on Opensea. It allows you to visually guess if it is rare or simply see if you like it or not. You can then decide if you want to buy/sell/swap an Avatar based on the visual you got when peeking. It adds an interesting element to the 72-hour pre-reveal window whilst also being a PRIME sink.
Fitch had this to say about Avatars: “folks from places like Riot and Apple who have made something truly special. A ‘pfp’ but so much more…”
The Payload is back! Each hit of the Payload costs 1.25 PRIME and will return the spender one random card. You’re very likely to receive an uncommon First edition card but there are Special editions, Perfect loops, Card Backs, and Assets in the Payload inventory. Head here to try your luck, or grab a load of cards to make an NFT deck.
