Last Friday, Kalos took to the Twitterverse to share exciting updates and previews for what’s coming. Here is a summary of his post.
Core Focus Areas
Growth via scale and distribution.
Increased utility for $PRIME.

Distribution
Epic Release: Launching marketing and growth initiatives post UI/UX fixes.
Marketing Cinematics: New and existing ones to be used.
Rakuten: It’s key to Parallelโs distribution strategy. Rakuten is the Amazon of Japan. Parallel cards or Manga are included in branded packages. Low CAC and high targeting in the TCG market. Rakuten has over 40 million monthly active users (MAU) and will distribute additional packs, comics, and toysโฆ
TCG
Stability/UI/UX: Improvements prioritized.
Balancing: Ongoing work for better game balance.
Aftermath Expansion: Sold in PRIME, “open and play” feature, new cinematic.
Tournaments: High-stakes tournaments to return post-stability fixes.
Crates: Tradable assets requiring PRIME to mint/open.
Mac and Mobile: Development is ongoing for the end-of-year release.
Digital Card Cases: Planned for later in the year.
Planetfall Payload: In PRIME for deck rounding.
Physical Cards and Toys: Manufacturing issues resolved.
Parallel League: $500K prize pool.
In-Game Rewards: Revamped for new and free-to-play players.
Other Initiatives
Colony in UE5: Closed Alpha targeted for this year.
Wayfinder: Material updates are expected by the end of June/July.
Team Growth: Team of 65 people. Focused on building and scaling the game and IP.

What type of project do you think this is for?
Parallel gives away one of the most coveted and lore-rich assets in the ecosystem’s history. The vaunted Prime Key.
MrGone reminds us just how far things have come for the TCG. The game had humble beginnings and evolved rapidly over time.
Echelon announced that Bonds have entered the final stage of QA testing. The card-sharing system is a huge unlock for the ecosystem, and the community is excited about it.
Echelon also announced that Prime Rewards can be claimed on Sanctuary. More ways to claim equal more rewards for the communityโjust the way it should be.
Outside of the massive roadmap update, Kalos shared a breakdown of the crate system in the works. Gamers can earn them via the Weekly Challenge track. Reminder: Kalos and MrGone will be in Austin, TX, this week for Consensus. If you’re there, come by their booth and say hi!
Jan hits us with some more banger artwork explorations. This set has a very Shroud feel to it.
The Community continued doing good for others, educating one another, and having fun. Last week, Mark.D. games ran a 24-hour stream to raise money for cancer research. Shoutout to Ai Rev for doubling it. YGG has deck guides and jokes! Allie schools us on Earthen play in the new world of Planetfall. Hung gives away an Avatar.
