Hello and welcome back to my weekly recap. I’m Lleeto and I look forward to documenting the Parallel and Echelon events that have happened this week.
Comic details, deck builder, plus more!
This week we learned that there will be three cover art variants for the upcoming Parallel Comic: “The Priming, Issue 1”. The three covers were revealed with the first being Soleia, Disciple of Gaffar produced by Sasha, the second, Tane, Shield of Meev’Tsar, and the third, Gaffar, Arbiter of Earth produced by Matteo Scalera.
The Comics have been prepared in collaboration with the Royal Academy of Illustration and Design [RAID Collective] whose prior client work includes: Marvel, D.C, Archie comics, and Lucasfilm. The Comic also features art by the acclaimed artist, Joe Vriens.
There will be a total of 3,333 editions at a price of 0.33Ξ each. The edition counts for each variant will be revealed shortly. Collector’s that purchase a comic will receive 1 of 3 variants at random.
These comics will be digital, but some edition types will have a physical redemption!
Those of you included in the Multifold Key snapshot will have a window to purchase between Wednesday 19th October at 1 pm EST and Friday 21st October at 5 pm EST before public purchases commence on the 29th.
The official Parallel Deck Builder is now live under the tools tab at https://parallel.life/decks/. After choosing a Parallel you will reach a screen where you can choose which Paragon from that Parallel you will choose.
Once your Paragon has been selected you will select cards for your deck. Along the left side of the page, you will be able to filter the cards by, rarity, type, and energy cost. As you build your deck you will be able to see an energy cost and card types bar chart so you can keep track of your deck’s makeup.
The Parallel Deck Builder is on the PGS [Parallel Game Server]. This means that any decks created in the Deck Builder will also appear in the production game client when it goes live.
Parallel revealed a potential game idea that could utilize the Parallel 3D library. This image shows a turn-based strategy game using the 3D library but it is not actually in active development.
Check the tweet out here to see other image variants and the communities reactions.
Parallel co-founder Kalos wrote an extensive Twitter thread explaining the Parallel ecosystem vision which received a great response.
He talks about how one would earn $Prime, what it can be spent on along with other earnable in-game currencies, redeeming physical cards, how one can acquire 3D equipment, and what it will potentially be used for.
I highly recommend you check it out here if you’re new to Parallel and want to know what vision it is they’re working towards making a reality.
This week we saw footage of two more Parallel landscapes.
First up we have “Passage through the clouds” which shows footage of the Earthen capital city, Primea.

Secondly, we have “Priming the Ion drive” from the Augencore capital, Caine-1. This one got a lot of love on social media with many people mentioning that it feels like a scene from a Parallel movie.
